| Study on Risk Sharing Contract Design in Closed-Loop Supply Chain under Downside-Risk Control |

| Abstract:The impact of revenue sharing contract and quantity discount contract is discussed in the two-echelon closed loop supply chain with a downside-risk-averse retailer and a risk-neutral manufacturer, which shows that the two kinds of contracts may not coordinate such a channel under the downside-risk control. Therefore, a risk-sharing contract composed of transfer payment contract and revenue sharing contract is designed, which offers the desired downside protection to the retailer, provides more profits to the agents, and accomplishes channel coordination. For optimal decisions of the manufacturer, we use the numerical method to analyze the effect of the retailer downside risk on decision variables, profits of the manufacturer and the retailer. Finally, an application example shows the effectiveness and feasibility of the risk-sharing contract. |
