| Practical Method for Calculating the Covering Coefficient of Fuzzy Decision Set |

| Abstract:Fuzzy decision making theory has been applied extensively in many fields of economics. This paper made further investigation on the properties of the covering coefficient between two fuzzy sets. Then, we proposed a method to calculate the covering coefficient without any complex statistical tests. Based on this discussion, new definitions of intersection and union operations of fuzzy sets were presented. Two examples illustrate that the new operations are feasible and realistic. |
